Ivaylo Ikonomov’s interests in commercial and corporate law include real estate transactions, complex business contracts, collateral, debt collection and more. Ivaylo Ikonomov has extensive knowledge and experience in dispute resolution through commercial negotiations and mediation, as well as arbitration and litigation.

Before founding Ikonomov Law, Ivaylo Ikonomov had experience as a lawyer in the banking sector, the metalworking industry and municipal administration. He is a certified mediator since 2017 and a member of the Varna Bar Association since 2023.

Ivaylo Ikonomov received his Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (2012-2017) and was awarded his PhD from the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” (2019-2022) for his thesis on the topic of Hardship. As a student, he won various awards for his academic achievements, including First Prize in the 2016 International Commercial Dispute Resolution Competition in Vienna, Austria, organized by the International Bar Association and the Vienna International Arbitration Center (CDRC, the IBA- VIAC Mediation and Negotiation Competition). He speaks Bulgarian, English and German.
